UK ID cards and fingerprint biometrics NO2IDJan 03, 2012
The UK is currently going down the route to an identity database and ID cards. Some of this will be based on fingerprints. Should we really be supportive of it? (I'd appreciate any feedback on this video - as I might re-edit it).

New Labour capitulate and decide to not make it compulsory for airside airport workers to have ID cards. Could it be that they FINALLY twigged that a strike by those being forced with these Nazi cards in the two trial airports would produce national transport chaos? The ID card / database project is however not dead, it will take a government that believes in freedom and democracy to kill such a Nazi scheme. Is there such a potential government in the UK?
